Intro
I'm pleased to announce that the airfield has given approval for me to organise the third annual Bordeaux International Fly-In at Saucats airfield (LFCS).

Surrounded by vineyards in the heart of the prestigious Pessac-Léognan wine appellation, Saucats is ideally located for visiting châteaux and also for the center of Bordeaux, located about half an hour's drive away.

As in previous years, I will be organising the following :
- A minibus for group transport
- For those who prefer to have their own vehicle, rental cars which can be left at the airfield on departure
- A wine tasting
- A visit to the center of Bordeaux
- A fly-out to a local airfield restaurant
- A special pilots' banquet on the last night

About the airfield
800m hard runway
No landing or parking fees
Avgas available (currently 1.80 eur per litre)

Just for your calculations & number crunching:-
More Grumpy aeroplane owners have emailed me to say that they are more than interested:-
The Gibson's (2). The Schmidt's (2). The Marchants (2) and Grumpy Santa.

Santa & I are now booked into the Ibis. :D

For the moment, could you just give a vague indication as to whether you would be interested in coming.

A definite 'vague indication' from me. Hope to confirm nearer the time.

For anyone that has not been to one of James's Bordeaux weekends, I can highly recommend it. Friendly airfield, great food (and wine) and the company is not too bad either.

A stop at La Rochelle on the way down would work well.
