What are you planning? Where shall we go?
D-Day 75 at Solent Airport Daedalus
A community event to mark the historic D-Day 75 anniversary at Solent Airport Daedalus, formally HMS Daedlaus on Saturday 8 June and Sunday 9 June.

HMS Daedalus was the busiest allied airfield in the UK on D-Day with more than 400 missions flown over Normandy so it will be a very special place from which to commemorate this important event.

Aircraft will be a key feature with both static and flying aircraft to enjoy. Visitors can look forward to children's activities, fun fair rides, stage and arena performances, food stalls, gift and community stalls, vintage cars and more!
A commemorative plaque to mark this significant occasion will be unveiled and displayed throughout the weekend.

We are very excited to announce some high-flying headline acts for the weekend including The Great War Display Team, the Round Canopy Display Team and The World's only wing walker display team, the AeroSuperBatics!
