Dammit - I was onsite for a client for a few days in a place called Merseburg (nr Leipzig).
I had seen there was a JAM type museum, beside an interesting (historically anyway) airfield -EDAM - just down the road.
I’d checked out what they had - looked definitely worth at least 2-3 hour visit.
Alas, “due to Corona” it’s closed, never to reopen
After reading up about the museum, it was set up/being run up by a septuagenarian history and aviation buff….sound familiar?
What a sad demise for what looked a significant collection.
