For help, advice and discussion about stuff not related to aviation. Play nice: no religion, no politics and no axe grinding please.
I’m looking to work out where to locate branches for a home care agency.

I need to be able to display a map with isochrones as one layer, and population in another

Ideally I’d like to use a free package like google maps, and I can see how to bodge a solution by using ONS data and then producing a spreadsheet which lists populations for individual postcode areas but it feels very inelegant

Is there any software which does this already as I guess it’s the type of thing a lot of businesses would wish to look at.

Any ideas or recommendations?

Sorry for another useless reply. I use software called MapInfo at work. I know there is a free MapInfo Viewer that allows you to display map layers but I'm not sure if it has the functionality to create the layers that you need.
