I need to do some flight fiddling and their website won't let me.

I've made some sandwiches and a flask of tea to sit down and listen to greensleeves all afternoon.

Thanks for that : I looked at the easy site again, but no sign of the number.

However I used your number and am holding as I type:

Just coming up to 55 minutes Ed Sheeran x 2 now Clean bandit.

Sadly what I want to do can't be done online so I'm cutting my losses before Time runs out and I become a no-show and lose a shedload of dosh.

Problem solved to my satisfaction after two phone calls (1hr 55 wait and 1 hr30 wait).

No dosh lost/extra charges.

Only had to raise my voice a teensy bit once. :thumleft:

Can I borrow you for TUI negotiations?

PS I know we don't do politics but the people that wrote the Consumer Credit Act played a blinder.

That was Professor Sir Roy Goode (who gave me my job), and is a top bloke (even those he didn't employ agree). In his 80s now, and still works harder than I do.

That Act was remarkably unpolitical. It came from the Crowther Committee, which was a cross-party initiative, and Roy did all the heavy lifting.
