I wouldn't have thought boozing would be the goal, more sitting next to a nice open fire while having a convivial conversation with other people over a pint.

This is what we have at our disposal when we don't go by canoe but we paid about £65 for ours (second hand). The great thing is its stability which is rather useful after a 'lunch' in town!

What part of "...no kayaks...no getting wet..." did you miss(c)? All that wobbling about and spraydecks shennanigans. You'll be expecting me to wear a pair of Crocs next.
