Time was that I lived near a very expensive EFL school in the Gloucestershire countryside. It specialised in teaching the offspring of hyper-wealthy persons from oil-rich countries in the Middle East (I am told the term we used then 'rag heads' is no longer PC)

The first really frosty morning each winter would see many of the local hedgerows heavy with new fruit, largely Lamborghini, Ferrari and with a smattering of Aston Martins.

Let's face it , neither of the drivers in that opening sequence were exactly showing exemplary conduct were they ?
Sounding the hooter in retribution makes him as bad as the rrrsole in the Beemer.

If you're driving along minding your own business and all of a sudden , you get the BMW grille snarling at you in the rear view mirror , then just let him go . If he's driving like an ape , then encourage him past so that he can zoom off into oblivion . And hopefully , when he does splatter himself into a tree , he won't take any innocent people with him .

There are many such videos of "bad driving" on the "Tube of All" where someone that thinks they are a perfect driver points out the ills of another. The trouble is that in probably 50% of those cases the behaviour of the person complaining is suspect and in another 30+% watching the video I think to myself "but why couldnt you see that might happen".

Several years ago I was driving down country lanes and had a rear view mirror full of silver Porsche, far too close and all red-faced. At the first straight he pulled out from behind me but never came past. It seems as though he'd started to overtake but had run right out of talent as when I looked back in my rear view mirror he was just coming to rest nose first in a ditch. I did turn round and check he was okay but I chuckled as I drove off after he sheepishly said he was fine.

On a minor point of order may I point out that getting ones just deserts in this life is not actually the meaning of 'karma'. It's more about coming back as a worm in the next life if you haven't been admirable in this one.
What we're dealing with here is schadenfreude - a great emotion for misanthropic misery guts like me :)

You offer a very strict and not wholly encompassing definition

The law of karma teaches us that all of our thoughts, words and actions begin a chain of cause and effect, and that we will personally experience the effects of everything we cause. We may not experience the effect (the returning karma) right away, and it may not even be in this lifetime, but you can count on it just the same.

Note the use of the words "may not", rather than "will not''

Hey Rob, you might like to read some more of the web site you linked to before you quote it as an authority..;)
Anyway I blame The Beatles - "instant karma's gonna get you..."

That looks like an A Class Merc. Driver was probably going too fast trying to get to their destination to get the driving experience over with as soon as possible.

Yes, totally. It seems that a good number of idiot drivers have dashcams which only show how much of an idiot they themselves are.

Also my observation out on the roads is that there are very very few good Mercedes drivers indeed. Sorry if some here are!

I would claim to handle MrsJohnm SLK with consummate skill and judgement and she doesn’t make me grit my teeth too often :D

I suspect @Jim Jones could make a similar claim :D

Mercedes are interesting (not often you see that). On the continent they are taxis. Over here they have a cachet and are seen as posh.

I have only driven a few, the best was an old one with the 'gunsight' badge on the bonnet. It had a sort of Third Reich feel viewing the road with that in the foreground

I had an E class when they were the world’s favourite taxi, the build quality was superb and it drove “steadily” but the seats were like sitting on a park bench :D

Mrs S needs a cushion before she’ll sit in P2 seat of my E Class, but she’s as skinny as a rake The seats were built for fat kraut ar ses so mine fits a treat.

Btw in some parts of the world they still the favourite taxi.

Best feature of all is the acceleration from 70-100 to dodge the legions of Romanian 44 tonner drivers wandering over all the lanes of the A14 while either stoned or pi ssed
