Advice please,

For the last couple of weeks I have been unable to open links (by clicking on them) in e-mail messages.

Attachments are OK, they open as they should.

I am having to copy the shortcut and paste it into the IE address bar to open the links.

I am pretty sure I have not altered any settings but these 'pooters have a mind of their own.

go into the preferences of your email client. Somewhere in there it should let you select a default browser for viewing links. Make sure this is set to the correct browser and all should be fine and dandy.

I cannot find the appropriate bit to alter I'm afraid in OE6.

Start-> Control Panel -> Internet Options

Click the Programs tab

If all else fails, click the Reset Web Settings button to resort to defaults.
