British fastener sizing is typically complex, it goes 'A' for 6BA, 'B' for 4BA, and 'C' for 2BA.

Then the fun starts; a 1/4" bolt is 'E', then going up in size you get 'G' 'J' 'L' and 'N'

So, Eat Good Jam Leave None...

and going onwards, P, Q, S, U and W, for which a mate of mine came up with
