Well, Flint, as an example I had a (non-av) trip report here which uses Photobucket links.

They work now, whereas 6 months ago they did not.

Hopefully the whole thing was a wheeze to stop commercial users taking liberties, or PBucket have seen such a drop in traffic they've had to execute a volte-face.
