I'm not sure whether I might be losing it a bit but that's a separate thread entirely. However, over two consecutive weekends I bought two mopeds; a 1968 Motobecane and a 1973 Mobylette.
The Motobecane is unbelievably simple with a single bicycle seat and has no speedo or horn but does have (non-working) front and rear lights. The ultra modern Mobylette has a dual seat with speedo, working lights and runs a treat but the aftermarket horn does not work.
Does anyone know what the MOT requirements for either of these mopeds are please because I have read conflicting information. I am aware that the Motobecane will neither require MOT or Tax next year but I might get it roadworthy before then.
I have been banned from buying any more motor vehicles until further notice!!
