A man in Minnesota had this great idea that he'd increase his social media following by filming a stunt to prove that a thick book in front of his chest would stop a bullet when his girlfriend fired a gun at him. It didn't.

it was .50 cal, the bullet probally went through the book, him and the next two walls. That's one out of the gene pool.

You'd have thought that even the thickest plank would take the precaution of doing a test-firing first, without a living-being behind the target. .... Apparently not.
Ah, well, half that deficient couple won't breed again.

They did...

Apparently this idea arose when he shot at a bookcase full of encyclopaedias. The bullet didn't pass through the first one.

That was therefore enough testing to move onto the logical next step...

Knowing Americans, it won't be long before someone will try it with a bible, believing it will give them divine protection !

The couple's three-year-old child and nearly 30 onlookers watched as she fired the fatal bullet into his chest.

Thirty people were present? And nobody tried to stop them?

I wonder if the US law allows complete stupidity as a defense. On the other hand, the article features a screenshot of a tweet where the young lady refers to the upcoming stunt as "one of the most dangerous videos ever".

at least it is limited to just 2 offspring...... could have ended up a whole lot more!

Her Twitter account says "Mother of 2". But maybe she's counting the unborn child. Tragic, tragic.
