I had forgotten to come back to this thread. Oh what I have missed :lol:

I guess I should have known better.

A couple of points:

The Husqvarna is a premium model and probably over kill for my 500m2.
None of these are remote control.
They all have theft protection in that the base stations and cutting units are password protected in case of theft (I think it's if you disconnect them from the mains).

There's one that seems to be autonomous wandering around on one of the smaller lawns at RHS Wisley, you could call and ask them
