It seems like yesterday that we put last year's thread to rest, but it's back :thumleft:

The nights are pulling in, so soon it'll be the only thing to keep us going until Christmas.

I'll do my best to provide the usual upbeat reports, but I'm relying on Rob, and one or two others to bring their best game to keep the moaners happy.

I know we're all barely able to contain our excitement, but do your best, folks. :salut: :salut:

My constraint of excitement is rarely challenged.
But I do like the expert and not so expert content of these threads. It goes down well at work when I can affect yet another skill set different from my steeled eyed aviator version .,

Were you one of the ‘bobbing dorks’ in the front row?

Interesting to see the fat lady channelling the great Anna Netrebko…….

But with rather less allure.

I did see an elderly gent waving an “inflatable” once !
“Last Night…..” and the Christmas orchestral shenanigans are the only classical stuff I watch.

Good news chaps!

I was presented with a Yahoo news article outlining this programme and I actually know of TWO of the celebrities. The Welsh motor insurance bloke and Miranda's best mate Stevie.

I really have no idea how I will be able to resist watching.

But I shall.

Surely a gentleman of your years know who Toyah is?

We haven't applied for tickets to the live shows this year.

But by a remarkable fluke we got front row seats on one of the shows - week 4, I think it was - in 2022, the year Hamza Yassin won dancing with Jowita.

It was a great day albeit with a very early start - tickets are overallocated, and require 'validation' in person at Elstree Studios, requiring queuing at 6.30 am to be sure of actually getting in.

So we went for breakfast after that at Elstree airfield.
