Hi! I've not been on here for quite a while, I'm just trying to get my head around navigation, my problem is: the POH for the Piper 28 Warrior, page 5.19, in the Performance charts, Maximum rate of climb, the example shows PA = 5000ft, OAT = 16*, then it shows (ISA + 11*) answer Max Climb 374 f/min, (which is 376 - 2/1000 ft). Isn't ISA 15* so look under the ISA Column? Why look under the ISA + 10 column? Cheers, Ian

ISA temp at Sea Level is 15 degC, but this reduces by (as near as dammit) 2 degC per 1000’ of altitude.

15 - (5 x 2) is 5 degC, but the ambient OAT is given as 16, which therefore is ISA+11.
