Hello and welcome! I enjoyed reading your post about your first trip! Takes me back to that excitement of "this is my first actual flying lesson"!

My tip is to make notes during your pre flight brief and debriefs and ask any questions of your FI of points which you would like clarified. I also found that reading up on the next trip before hand also worked as I had more of an inkling about what my FI was explaining.

Also, when you get back home, write down your learning points, what was good, what was bad and the main things which you learnt from that trip. It really helped me and still helps me as I am converting onto the Chipmunk.

You're probably finding that the brain is on overload at the moment, so dont worry about RT , that will come....your FI has probably mentioned the phrase "aviate, navigate, communicate" or if not, probably will at some point!

Above all, enjoy the ride, .....its all flying and part of the experience :D
