Pay as you go all the way. The schools at Liverpool are pretty well established however Lomac recently shut down and in covid times anything is possible so I suggest pay as you.
Book... just my personal opinion pooleys are good but as mentioned AFE do the job, what I did find very useful was the pooleys exam guides , each contain 4 to 6 mock exams which I found good practice for the actual exam but that was before October this year “I did all paper exams”
No need to have sittings anymore so my advice is to pick a topic and focus on one at a time however you can easily do a few of them together but again now that sittings I’ve gone there is less pressure to do the exams back to back.
I did air law, human performance and op procedures together and I think comms and aircraft general then the rest I did one at a time, end to end was about 10 months.
