Good stuff. I had a run through with the instructor around two before setting off again on my own after we returned. I’m looking forward to a trip to Caernarfon once I qualify.

Good question! I when I first started (at a different school) it was advised that as I was carrying a few extra pounds that the weight of me, the instructor and full fuel was going to exceed mauw. Hence the pa28. Now I didn’t think I was THAT heavy! (15st at the time, bit less now) anyway got used to the pa28 and stuck with it.

Hi All. I thought it time for an update. I've just come back from a month in Portugal, !mostly business but some, well quite a bit of, escapism.

So on my first day back to blighty I popped along to Headcorn and spent a pleasant hour with my Instructor going through the course, checking out the ride and booking up my first lesson.

I also received my Class 1 in the post !!

I can't wait til the flying really commences.
