Hello Flyers,
I am currently moving forward steadily with my PPL at PTT Newcastle in the hopes of moving onto the commercial side in the future, my only worry is my height.
At 6 foot 7 I comfortably fit in a PA-28 Warrier with just enough head room and I know that different schools use different CPL, IR and MEP training aircraft.
I was wondering if it would be an issue moving into training but also moving into flying larger aircraft like Airbus or Boeing?
I have passed my Class 2 Medical without any issues so my height does not affect me medically and was told that a Class 1 Medical wouldn't be much different. I am also aware of ergonomic assessments that airlines like BA require for pilots over a certain height, would these be a major issue for myself?
Any advice/replies would be greatly appreciated!
Happy flying.
