Nice one :) I do hope that's not a precursor for the weather to turn... I hope you'll not need it for a while ;)

Haha! You can have the nice weather for a few more weeks while the CAA process my application, but then I want to indulge in some gratuitous cloud surfing ;)

Hello hello,

New here so this is a great place to start!

Passed the last requirement, my PPL skills test on Monday 13th Aug. 11 hours at White Waltham followed by a real-life break & move, and 48 hours @ Bristol & Wessex. Thoroughly enjoyed training there.

Now eagerly awaiting formal docs in the post.

Congrats indeed. Especially well done for restarting after a break. Yours to savour forever, now :) :)

Don't forget you can fly whilst you are waiting for your licence to be issued!

QXC completed yesterday (6th September) :D

Loads of showers, so constantly diverting around them. Stuck for around 2 hours at each destination airfield waiting for a weather window and then having to make some pretty tough decisions. Loved it!

Good work - only one thing left then! :)

Speaking of which, we should soon expect to see @NikW and @JReading getting their license?

Oops.. Sorry to hear about that - rather frustrating... hopefully holiday season will be over soon!
Didn't mean to 'chase' - was just anticipating good news :)
