Hi guys,

I'm going to start my licenses in the USA and then I want to convert in EASA. I have a question: is there a big difference between the IFR procedures in USA and the IFR procedures in Europe?
And, where could I learn IFR online, or mobile device? Do you know any options for that. Or, i’ve found some apps for that, but which one is you guys use?

Thanks

They are very similar and very different!

Once you have your FAA IR find yourself a good school with an excellent instructor to get some experience in operating in the European IFR system.

In the meantime join PPL/IR where there is a wealth of knowledge and experience in operating IFR in Europe (and beyond)

Have fun!

I used the Dauntless iPad app for my FAA IR preparation; the software is available on Windows PC, Mac and Android as well.

It's regularly updated as the question bank evolves.
