Well, I know it has been some time since this thread was active, I just thought I would reply with an update as closure to this episode of my experience.

Following the unexpectedly poor lesson in question, I left it a couple of weeks, when I got round to popping into the office for a coffee and chat, I found out the said instructor had actually been asked to leave due to feedback from other students. THE END.

I did look into Popham, and very pleased I did....Airbourne Aviation have been a very positive experience thus far.

My learning experience could not be a better one (chalk and cheese schools)

- Very professional helpful friendly instructors
- Great AC availability
- Friendly airfield (much less "stuffy") compared with the Bush.
- I am progressing well, not rushed either.
