Hello!

Hoping to get some advice/opinions on good flight schools to begin the commercial portion of flight training.

I completed my PPL(A) in Canada and currently hour building up to 100 PIC (also within Canada).
I've started looking for a potential flight school in the UK, and have so far only communicated with them via email (I sent out emails to all UK ATOs offering CAA commercial training).

I've only received responses from a handful so far, but I understand these places are busy!
I'll be planning to visit a few of these over the Christmas break during my temporary return.
So far I have a preferred list.. (Location not a huge issue, I'd go anywhere)

1. Aviation South West, 2. Vantage Aviation, 3. Blackbushe Aviation, 4. Cranfield, 5. Leading Edge, 6. Ravenair, 7. Redhill.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

I've heard very good things about the course at Leading Edge. But cost is unfortunately a big factor for me. I think this is one of the pricier modular options.

Just lastly, I am about to begin my ATPL theory distance learning.

I can't comment on who is or isn't good... but haven't a few on here suggested doing EASA/CAA in parallel to expand on employment opportunities? Unless the concept is no longer a valid option, I'd be looking at a flight school that does this.
