Have trawled around t'internet, but cannot seem to find a supplier of 28 - 30mm speaker inserts (300ohm) for my Pilot headset. Even Pilot only seem to do a 50mm insert.

Anyone else found a source ?

Aha - if only they were 300 ohms they would be just perfect.

Thanks Keith that would be appreciated. Seems a shame to bin an otherwise serviceable headset for the want of a small speaker. I think if I fitted the 600 ohm one it would cause too much of a volume inbalance between the two earcups.

I wonder what the reasoning was for aviation headsets to use 300 ohms and not the more common 8 ohms.

I'm in the same position as Flying_John - a 30mm 300 ohm speaker has failed in my Pilot ANR headset (it is the voice speaker not the ANR) and I cannot find a source of them.
Does anyone have a source, or any available please?
Thanks
Mike

Richard Holder probably has a few, as he takes them out of headsets when he does the ANR conversion. Do you have a photograph of it to try and match it with another one? They may not all fit each other.
