Hi all

On my newly purchased Jodel D112. When I push it back in the hangar, the brakes on both sides bind.
Almost to the point of not moving at all.
I have had both wheels off today. Cleaned up the brakes and wheels.
Nothing obvious.
I've greased the usual areas. Not quite as bad when pushing backwards.
I have checked the chamfers on the linings. All ok.
Quite a lot of lining left.
The brakes seem to operate and release ok when operated.
I've moved a friends D117.
His is similar but not as bad when moving backwards.
Is this normal for Jodel's?
Thanks

Andy, have you tried moving the wheels and checking brake bind when wheel is off ground?
Maybe loose shoe moving inside drum when moving backwards. Wheel bearings out of adjustment allowing drum movement?
Many Jodels have the wheels " toe out" which makes pushing the aircraft backwards more difficult, this has nothing to
do with brakes but worth checking.
My 117 brakes are fine (will hold on full power), so it is possible to adjust for no bind and good efficiency
