Hi all

I have a Uniden Bearcat EZI33 XLT airband radio with a ropey LCD display and would like to get it replaced, but can find no distributor or contact in the UK. Can anyone offer any assistance? Thanks

TBH, with new ones available at £60, the cost of shipping it somewhere, getting it fixed, shipped back, it'll cost as much to fix as replace!

Thanks Sooty. You are almost certainly right but given it's been used about 5 times and gave up the ghost at 11 months age, I am rather loathe to just throw it away. I hope they might offer some good will.

11 months? Should still be in warranty. Take it back to where you bought it. Though I suspect you might have bought it in Maplin...

The warranty page linked above says "See your warranty documents included with the product for more details." Do you have warranty pages in the box?
