I'm tempted to suggest that the manufactures substantiate their speed and fuel consumption claims by requiring them to start, over the sea, one hours flying time away, with the amount of fuel they claim is needed.
The Virus would have to start 121 nm way with 9.5l of fuel, the MCR01 162 nm with 14.8 l.
On reflection it may be better to tell the manufacturers first, let them specify the distance, speed and amount of fuel, then demonstrate it. That's what goes in the brochure.
