We have been into Biarritz as well. San Sebastian we much preferable to our mind.

According to SD, that restriction is only until 28th April. And the others run out at about the same time?

I'm unsure why San Sabastion didn't appear with Biarritz, which I thought was copied and pasted with my post ??

Both airports have IFR restrictions at this time and info provided by Golf Hotel is correct.

I don't see the IFR restriction at SS. ???????

And its kind of important that it seems to only be while work is done.

Went to San Sebastian yesterday - in Stuttgart's finest as opposed to Dijon's, but dropped into the airport all the same because of the issues raised on this thread and elsewhere.

Spoke to a very nice lady who told me that the airfield is absolutely open to VFR traffic. There is work ongoing to the runway, but the airport remains open, just Email that you are coming : operaciones@aena.es

Landing fee is ~12 euro, a days parking also ~12 euro. No Handling is required if you fly in from somewhere that has security, such as La Rochelle, Bordeaux etc. Unfortunately a handling fee is charged if you fly in from a small uncontrolled (security wise) aerodrome. I was told if unsure, just email them with where you are coming form and they will tell you in advance, no problem.

Regards, SD..
