Does anyone have any recent experience of flying into St Athans? I will be visiting Bridgend for business next week and this seems the closest airfield according to my research so far. If you have visited did you find it trouble free or were there issues?

Also interested in the landing and overnight parking fees.

P.s. If anyone knows of a farm strip thats 500 Metres plus nearby and accepts considerate and briefed visitors let me know?

Thanks in advance.

Lovely and friendly. You have to send them all your insurance documents and things beforehand though to prove Crown Indemnity. Landing and parking not expensive. They close at 5pm though, so you need to be in or out by then.

Cheap fuel last time I was there, too.
