First, You need to look at the official ports of entry

 It's moved. A brief search this morning failed to track it down, there may be somebody who can accomplish this?

Edit: Corrupted link, see Alex's post below

Yep, definitely cheeky :)

I want to keep the scope tight here - it's hard enough keeping this information current, so i don't want to have to keep track of fees too.

Turning up at Le Touquet without notification is a very selfish and silly thing to do. It just takes a few idiots to spoil it for the rest of us. We could end up with a longer notification period and more frequent checks.

Would those pilots return to the UK without submitting a GAR?

As to how much trouble you can get into: Have you ever seen customs officers search an aircraft for contraband? When they've finished it takes time to ascertain if it is still airworthy.

Anyone using OnlineGAR will find it automatically sends notice to many airfields, Le Touquet is one of them.

Although Besancon La Vize (LFQM) lost customs in 2016 it is still an official border crossing point for Switzerland by giving 12 hours notice to cli-lyon@douane.finances.gouv.fr.

Hi,
I have flown across the channel a number of times and I am very grateful to the chaps at onlineGar for producing both a list of customs airfields and also making it very easy to submit GAR forms. Helipaddy have also produced a nice map of customs airfields within easy refuelling distance of the UK
