Influenced by the post below, just wondering whether anyone has an interest in forming a group around a near new (or maybe new) Cirrus SR20 GTS or SR22.

Alternatively, there is Free Flight Aviation (http://www.cirrus147.com) that is looking for prospective people interested in investing in a Cirrus SR22 at Biggin Hill, if only a few of us are interested.

The above never took off sadly, so I looked for other opportunities to fly a Cirrus in the SE.

I am now contemplating signing up with City Flyer which is a shared ownership, fully managed, scheme. Aside from myself, they require one further person to sign up to order a new (or very near-new) Cirrus SR22-GTS. The share is in the region

Just an addendum to the above. City-Flyer now only needs one person more to sign up (because I have now signed on the dotted line!).

If you are interested in the SR22 and flying from Biggin then this is a ripe opportunity to get involved.

Congrats, so what are the actual figures for City-flyer then?

here are some quick figures (sorry for the scattered nature of it):

50 hours per year for the purchase of 2 shares (25 hours per share). 2 shares = minimum purchase

8 people in the group

Thanks, that is very interesting.

So they expect the plane to fly for 400 hours a year. A well worked plane potentially.

I'll be very envious when it arrives.

Thanks - well, there is still another space available if you are interested! If you're tempted City Flyer will arrange a demo flight for you. When I did my Cirrus Transition Training with TAA I realised that there was no way I was going back to flying anything else!
