That would be a big turn-off to me; as it should be to any prospective new joiner. I'm not buying a share in your "adverts" and "time".

Whilst I agree with your comments Rob, the fact is the £250 goes into group funds, and if I join the group, the money is still 'mine'.

Or at least 1/15th of it is.

Maybe it's done to make the share look cheaper in the ads. But I'm assuming the money stays in the group and just doesn't find its way into an individual's pocket.
