I am looking to join or may be even start a group for a 3 axis Microlight, I live near Elstree so looking for anywhere within an hours journey - I have 150+ hours

Isn't there a microlight airfield somewhere not too far away from Elstree?

Two.
London Colney, and Plaistows. The former is a pure club field, the latter has a well regarded microlight school, CFI being Rob Grimwood.

Paul, yes Elstree airfield, but I cant find any shares available there, it would be perfect for me, but I am prepared to drive up to an hour for one.

Plaistows got non-equity group : EV97 and Skyranger I believe - I used to be a member, it's quite a challenging strip - it's a good fun though...

There's a Breezer LSA at Leighton Buzzard - it's bigger than a microlight but not by that much

Just looked at that aircraft _ I wish I could but at the moment I have an NPPL, maybe with the MTOW change my license my entitle me to fly a beauty like that.

I have no dog in the fight, but all you need is to add SSEA to your NPPL: one exam, one skill test, perhaps half a dozen hours training for most microlight pilots.
