Group flying opportunities & questions

EY has just arrived at EGBJ and is available immediately to suitably qualified private and commercial pilots holding more than 100 hours P1 on SEP (for insurance purposes), preferably with Cessna experience. The four-seat aircraft is essentially fitted out for Day VFR (fitted with Garmin 430) utility use and may be taken away by members overnight or for weekends.

Proof of Single Lever Power Control differences training must be presented (training is available at Gloucester) and a short check flight will be required before hire, as will also be necessary if less than 3 landings have been performed in the preceding 90 days by the member.

Costs include a shared monthly fee towards fixed costs, apportionment of which which will vary as group members come and go, and a wet hourly rate (VAT is applicable); ATC and landing fees at Gloucester to be paid by the group member on the day. Overnight handling and parking fees away from Base are also to be paid directly by the member at the time.

Bookings will be via the Goboko online system and will be subject to a fair use policy.

Minimum term will be 12 months, and a deposit of £500 will be held in a secure holding account to cover insurance excess in the event of a claim attributable to a member.

Please email info@eagleflight.training for more information and to book your check flight.

I know little of non-equity rental.

Is it usual to commit to 12 months of monthly subscriptions with no certain knowledge of how much you have committed to as the subscription will vary randomly as group membership changes?
