Group flying opportunities & questions
#1578557
Hi Guys,

I am a full time student therefore quite poor, but I dont have a girl friend so I have some spare change to fly every so often. Studying for EASA B1 Licence, 9 EASA exams down, 4 to go, along with BSc Aircraft engineering at UEA/KLM.

Looking for a C152 or something similar to fly, have tail dragger experience too.

Cant afford a 'share' in an aircraft but interested in cheap non equity shares. Will travel upto 50miles.

Thank you.

You haven’t said where in Norfolk you live, but the McAully Flying Group at Little Snoring might be worth a look, albeit they have a C172, not a 152 as far as I know...

I’m not aware of anything else like that in Norfolk (I await to be proved wrong) and the only other suggestion I have is to take a look at Seething. Technically that’s in Suffolk and whether that would meet your needs, I have no idea...

HP , .. pedant alert !

Technically Seething is in Naarfick , scene of my 1st 5 bob flt in 1961 . Miles Messenger .
Had to go furrin' twice a day by crossing the Waveney to go to school in Suffolk [ Bungay ] . Good field 'tho .
Maybe try Felthorpe as well , for groups . If u r at UEA , then Felthorpe closer .

rgds condor .

I've got a share in a Rollason Condor based at Tibenham for sale.
Nominal price £400 but open to negotiation. Monthly cost thereafter is £20 for the aeroplane and £30 for gliding club membership. I think the latter can be paid as and when if you fly infrequently.
Hourly cost £97.50 wet per taco hour.

I'd be happy to take you for a flight to see if you like it. It's quite a fun little thing to fly.
