A Kamikase bomb

The Yokosuka MXY-7 Ohka was a rocket powered human-guided anti-shipping kamikaze attack plane, using as a platform, the bomber Mitsubishi G4M Betty. The following link shows a report and some photos this weapon, employed by Japan towards the end of World War II. I hope you enjoy.

They have an Ohka at Cosford's museum - always feel uneasy seeing it :pale:

This was never a very successful weapon as the Betty bombers that carried it were horribly vulnerable to American fighters.

The Americans referred to it as the Baka (Japanese for "stupid")

Intriguingly, one of the photos appears to show a 2-seater, but with no undercarriage, what was the point as it couldn't be used for training!!
