Popped up to the Airfield to visit a fellow forum flyer, had a great chat (learned more in 10 minutes with you lot than I normally do in weeks 
)
Place was absolutely crawling with people, blocking roads, parked on the grass verge (even jumping the fence to get on the end of the runaway
) as the Lancaster's were there, so parking was bad at the club. 
Cafe shut it's doors as it couldn't handle the number of people there, so no breakfast or coffee
Met up with some friends and got invited to see a Hurricane close up
We had a Robin booked out but Robbin number 1 was over fueled
Robin number two we had to send to the tech gods
Robin number three finally got us going
Taxiing out we saw the Lancaster's
When we got to Compton we were so late that the cafe had closed, no lunch or dinner for me then
But that did have some wonderful cake
On the way back the Vis dropped pretty bad
But we heard the Lancaster's were taking off and managed to get on Downwind as they were leaving
But I didn't take any photos
but I did get to see them come back in again (video below)
Conclusion, even a bad day flying is better than a day not flying
Check out the tail wheel shimmy on landing, is this normal on one of these?

If it moves and shouldn't - use duck tape
If its stationary and should be moving - use WD40
For everything else use a hammer or alcohol but never both at the same time.
