I enjoyed a trip down to Newquay on Saturday in the 172.

I'm a member of the Classic Air force museum and have been wanting to see their new exhibition since it opened in March this year after relocation from Coventry.

The initial cloudbase on departure from Draycott Farm was a bit challenging, but improved all the time.

The very helpful museum manager who was also the chap who marshalled me at Echo ramp, is buying a half share in an Auster (poor chap!) so he can get enough hours in the hope he will eventually be able to operate some of the museum exhibits.

All photos taken using a Samsung NX100 (Compact System Camera) with either 16mm F2.4 or 30mm F2.0 lenses (except for the one of the Cessna/VC10 which used 50-200mm zoom.
