Peter's Top Gear piece in this month's magazine was timely as I've lately been debating a dedicated camera The phone is great but its constant security locking is a head-wreck and now is is beginning to apply "scene" settings.
There's much to like about Peter's choice but it's hard to ignore the Sony RX100 series dominance. In a small cockpit, is the Lumix easier to use than the smaller Sony? The Lumix controls seem a great idea but at the same time the Sony seems more pocketable for when I'm not in the cockpit?
Not interested in producing video - don't have the time to edit nor the bandwidth to share Also the moveable screen's not that big a deal to me since the phone doesn't have a moveable screen either.
