One question, on the departure from Elba, that S turn, is that part of an IFR departure or can it only be flown visually? If it's part of an IFR departure, how is it normally flown (yes, I know these days one would fly it on the GPS, but...)?

Hi @Paul_Sengupta The Elba 34 departure is a visual manoeuvre, so it can be flown by both IFR and VFR departures off 34. In practice, the turboprop community tends to have the power to outclimb the hill. You will see an example of this in the following video, which features a PC12 departing 34 (minute 06:08) and climbing almost directly out.
