I spent some time on the ramp after the Air Tattoo snapping a few departures.

You can't get much cooler than 'Crow' and 'Ultra' in their Strike Eagle.

They should have chased those Ukrainian Sukhois in picture one....that would have been something to see.

Did you get any good photos of those?

Before I saw the other side of the American flag, I was thinking "where's Wally?"....

I didn't actually, was busy at the time they left. Hopefully they'll be back so I can have a go next year!

(I've not quite got my mind around why pilots [and crew chiefs et al] in most Air Forces of the world need to have their name painted on the side of an aircraft. Vanity, perhaps?)

They didn't do it in the Battle of Britain. :?:

Ships and submarines don't have the Captain's name plastered down the side.
