Great day today.

Cloudy and chilly crosswind which limited the amount of aircraft for the fly-in. But still an enjoyable day and looking forward to the next fly-in next month. Thanks to all that came.

Lovely. I quite fancy a Luscombe. Am I mad?

Are those two questions related?

I also like Luscombes, but the practicalities of me, being the size I am, owning one, made me decide to look elsewhere. I was accepted at the annual Luscombe bash at Oaksey as an honorary Luscombe though, and was allowed to sample the Lusty Luscombe Ale!

How big are you Paul?

6ft (or just over), 140kg.

Are you too tall for the Luscombe, or is it a bit tight inside? I'm 110kg (though currently decreasing) and am conscious that weight can be an issue, especially with Permit aircraft,

Both, and I like being able to take passengers!
