Went to see her at the festival Hall on Tuesday. Absolutely brilliant. Her music has gained a fabulous edge and as usual the musicianship was superb. She did two covers - one of Bob Marleys "Is this Love?" which she slowed down and bluesed up and her encore was a version of "que sera sera" which made the hairs on the back of my neck stand uo. Gospel and blues notes, fantastic harmonies, great arrangement - reminded me a little of Joe Cocker's "with a little help from my friends"
