I have just been reading the article on getting your night rating and I think there is an error in the boxed out "Night rules in the UK"

"Night VFR flights in the United Kindgom are to be flown below a level which is at least 300m above the highest obstacle located within 8km of the estimated position of the aircraft subject to:-
a) at an altitude not exceeding 3,000ft AMSL
b) clear of cloud and with the surface in sight
c) a a height not less than 300m above the highest obstacle within a radius of 600m when over congested areas (paraphrased)
d) elsewhere at a height of 150m above the highest obstacle (paraphrased)

So given the first limitation it means you cannot comply with c and you only have 150m to play with for d.

The rules governing flying are complex and often illogical enough without what seems to be incorrect information.
Or am I missing something here? :?
