I'm still getting issues being logged in on different devices. Basicly either Chrome or Edge on my PC will not stay logged in on my PC, if I am logged on on my tablet. Additionally, despite logging in/out/in on my PC, some of the functionality isn't there, the starred/bold threads are not there showing new posts are on a thread, and the icons for report/quote/edit are missing. This is in both Chrome and Edge browsers.

This means the forum is not really usable on my PC. Which I wouldn't have minded if I wasn't trying to post some photos onto the 2022 thread to illustrate my existing post.

If there's something I'm doing wrong, tell me... I'm all ears.

This disease has now spread to my preferred tablet...

I don't know what's going on, but from starting the tablet, I log in (ticking remember me) and the stared/bold functionality is there and I can hit like/post no worries. If I then leave the tablet a few hours or close the browser (chrome), on re-opening the Flyer Forum, it looks like I'm logged in and says so, but there are no new starred/bold threads showing even though there are new posts. Log out, then back in does nothing. I either need to shut down the tablet and it now shows not logged in, so log in and everything works, or, if I click to reply to a post I get a new invitation to log in and all is fine again for that session... until I leave the tablet for a few hours or... etc...

It's getting annoying, and I have accepted cookies, so don't know what the problem is... Anyone..??

Firefox on PC and Safari on tablet trouble free are you logging on to the site as opposed to just the forum(sign in top right home page)

I have a similar but slightly different situation. I’m currently logged in (I think) as when I refresh, I get the latest new posts, updated notifications etc but it appears that I’m not logged in because it says Sign In in the top right corner. This is in iPad. I’ve not bothered to report it as yet because it works, but thought I’d add to this thread in case there is a link.

But yes there is a long-standing glitch that does stop you accessing "New Posts" and other features without a bit of a faff at annoyingly inconsistent intervals. Many of us suffer from it.

So I've now got 2x different Android Tablets, tried on 2x different routers, in 2x different countries... That appear logged in after you shut down a page/browser, but actually aren't and you need to log out/in again. FTAOD, cookies accepted on flyer website.

Willing to believe its a setting I have needs changing, but what? And why similar issues with Laptop & iPhone?

The login problem(s) seems to have spread to me too (or at least a login problem has).

It started by being logged out in the forum.
But when I click 'Sign in' and it took me to the main Flyer homepage logged in (with no option to sign-in, as I way already signed-in)
Tried signing out.
It let me sign back in, but again only for the main site, not the forum.
In the end deleting all 'flyer.co.uk' cookies seemed to be the only way to get it to let me login to the forum.

I’m on a mobile, and I can’t log out !!

(I use being logged out as my “count to ten”. When I read a certain persons posts, the time it takes to log in puts me off replying to them!)

Logging into the site no longer logs me into the forums, I managed to get logged in through the user profile but it only started happening this morning and it's a right royal pain and it's lost the index for New Posts too.

Managed to get logged into the forum by trying to reply to this thread which then took me to the forum login screen

Same issues on iPad. Logs in to site but then when clicking on the forums, it logs me out.

Finally got logged in by trying to respond to a post. Was the only way it would do so.
