Fond memories of Xmas Day 2013 after the Xmas Eve 60kt winds :-(

Fortunately the missus works for another well known tape manufacturer and we had a box full of their obsolete stock to hand. And more challenging than a stroll.

No-one seems to use it now, but the PVC mesh the original polytunnel builder used lasted almost 20 years. Abrasive as ****, but strong. The polythene starts to hole after around 7 looking at the other hangars at our strip. Essential to use the anti hot spot tape.

As far as I'm aware, there are several tarpaulin manufacturers who make them in clear, with built-in reinforcing-matrix (polyprop? ) woven in about 20mm squares.....yes, they'll make to size as well as the stock-offerings that are pre-eyeletted.

Moving aside from the banter about my overalls - they are red and match the aircraft, obviously :D* - I will have to take some pictures at the weekend.

* And no adrenalin stains - I wear them for cleaning it, not flying it.

Yep you are both privileged.

Dyslexnick you flew me back to Draycot after I dropped my aircraft off with Phil Acock for some avionics work.

Farmer you took me back to Popham to collect the aircraft when said avionics work was complete.

I still owe you both a favour.....
