Congratulations on your first solo. How did you get the map added?

Thanks! The overlays were done using Garmin's VIRB software http://www.garmin.com/en-GB/shop/downloads/virb-edit. It's intended for use with their VIRB cameras, but will work with any video and GPS trace (I use a GoPro and MotionX for the GPS trace).

A video I made recently. Quick flight from Barton up to Pilling Sands to do a few minutes of aeros practice before heading down the coast over Blackpool and then back to Barton.

Proof that the go pro suction mount works externally. Nice to have a 2000m runway to yourself at weekends and no ATC!

Do they still have that old plane outside, supposed to be a restaurant but I never saw it open during my visits there.

I never knew there was one there tbh. Biggest thing I saw and visited was a Yak40 but that was inside the museum and not a cafe.

Can you not just use the URL link button and let the forum do the rest, or have you already tried that?

Had a bit of end of year flying fun with a buddy from the States last week.

James Corden has Carpool Karaoke, we bring you Cockpit Karaoke!

I hope you enjoy our bit of silliness, Merry Christmas.
