I was under the impression that you can take them from any airfield that has a qualified examiner??
I take mine at Stapleford - there's at least 3 examiners on hand.

Steve, I've got an aweful cold at the moment and I'm not fit to fly. I'd like to take the next exam but could do without going all the way to Denham.

Could probably manage it just with CAP413 but if anyone can recommend a good London(ish)/Biggin/Kent course I'd appreciate it.

Interesting idea. We could get together and charter some wacky airliner. Could get you into a career as a tour operator...
