Bill Werbenuik, the legendary drinker and sometine snooker player, recently sadly passed away.
In his obit in the Grauniad today, it was reported that he had a tremor in his cue arm (caused by drinking) which he controlled by drinking 8 pints (that's 1 Imperial gallon) of lager before a match and a pint during each frame.
He succesfully claimed it against tax. There y'go Irv, have a go!

I find any tremors I have extremely useful thanks - I can't imagine life without them! :-)

I was utterly shocked when at my last medical I was weighed and told I was pre-obese! Unfortunately I was with a certain instructor who will remain nameless, aside to say I've witnessed the lager swilling antics a few times... and he now ribs me endlessly about my PREMATURE obesity! Anyway, now I've gone and told everyone that'll hopefully take the wind out of his sails a bit.
