Have heard that a helecopter has gone down nr Biggin Hill killing two people.
I'll post more if I get it.

Thoughts go out to family and friends.

I wish that when a/c crash we could always walk away, look back at the mess and feel fortunate. Alas this isn't always the case.

It's a pitty that until someone is killed, we take it for granted that we're safe in the air. Human nature I suppose.

The pilot was well known at southend--very unassuming pleasant helpfull guy. Very sad-apparently the craft had just had maintenance. We can only wait and see result of investigation.
